Ovulation dip and +OPK

For the last two cycles I have been temping and using OPKs. Both cycles I've had an ovulation dip and then a positive OPK the next day when my temp started to rise but FF didn't give me crosshairs until the day after the positive OPK. I thought ovulation usually occurs on the same day as the dip? Is it possible to O the day before the OPK detects your peak LH surge? I felt O pains on the same day as my big temp drop and the OPK was darker but not totally positive until the next day when it got super dark.

Theres no exact formula. You can O on the day of dip, before or after. All of your signs should line up though and you should BD just in case!

I always ovulate the day of my last OPK and I also get the dip then too
