    Hi ladies,

I got the reslts back from the test from the Dr today and it appears I'm not ovulating  to say I'm gutted is the understatement of the century
I have to do another 21 day test next cycle and if that's neg as well then the Dr will refer us to a fertility clinic in the local hospital. This also takes us into a year of trying.

I was just wondering if any of you had had any success with Agnus Castas for ovulation?
Or anything else? I take B6/12 for my LP (very short) and it helps stop me spotting quite as early ... all suggestions welcomed as tonight I feel pretty down and rather like I've failed DF in our quest for a baby

I promise to stop being such a misery later in the week

    Hey gorgeous Chiquita

Now now... you haven't failed DH on your quest for a baby, you have merely had a blip and there is certainly no failure going on! If your DH had got a low SA what would you have said to him if he said he had failed you? Now here is a gentle butt kick :ninja: followed by a big :hugs: and a glass of :wine: for very good measure.

Not too sure about the agnus castus thing hun - was there any mention of clomid or any other drug that can assist in ovulation?

When is your next blood test gonna be?

    :friends:

    Hi there,

Thank you :hugs: butt kick received and appreciated ... and it worked!
Next test is CD3 ish (when AF arrives .... still waiting) and then another around CD21 ish (depending on when I O ... Or dont!)

Dr said that if that's neg then its a fertility clinic for us and drugs ... clomid prob I think. She seemed a little worried about the timing of my CD21 tests as due to late O I cannot go at the 'desired' 7 DPO as that would mean I had it done on the day AF was due :dohh: BUT its also meant to be 7 days before AF ... Rock and hard place  so it's always going to fall a couple of days after O :hissy:
TBH I'm considering temping as a way of checking O?
What do you think? I had wanted to avoid it as I think it might stress me even more :dohh: but it might be the best way to detect it?
The CBFM has been giving me PEAKS (even last month)

    Arghhhh mind mess! hehehehehe

Really interesting. I don't think I'm ovulating either. Its heartbreaking I know...the other day the DH said he couldn't wait to have kids...it breaks my heart that it's my fault

I hope my appointment gos well tomorrow and that I get some answers. Have you been referred yet?

I'm so sorry, im going through similar issues (only O'd 3 times in a year) and know how hard it is. How do you know you have a LPD if you dont ovulate or do BBT though?!? Monitors or opks can't confirm O, the only way to do that is through BBT and/or progesterone assays. I think doing the tests on CD 21 and just getting the negs is the best way to get the help though.

I've been on Vitex/AC since July and its messed me up so much. I wish i never took the stupid stuff. Last month i O on day 27. And now this month i've had 7 positive OPK and even though im on CD 31 i've still not ovulated. I think having the specialists monitor your cycles on Clomid is a much better way to go, it will save you all the uncertainty (anxiety) of trying to do it on your own.

Im due back at the hosp in Dec to start Clomid, but need to get a S/A done and tube investigation first. Thankfully anovulation is one of the easiest issues to "fix". I hope you manage to see them quickly and get things rolling, hopefully you will have your BFP in the very near future :) *hugs*

I'm so sorry bout your test results honey - I would definitely temp if I were you - I only started temping a few months ago after resisting it for over two years - but I love it. It really helps me tie everything up - I know that if i get a positive OPK, plus EWCM, plus a temp rise then I can pinpoint the exact day - whereas using OPK's on there own I was always worried about when to pee on it etc.. etc. - Temping really helps you to understand your body's rhythms and cycle -I would definitely recommend it. Then when you see your dr you will have more info for them.

    Thinking of you,

    bx x x:hug::hug:
