Ovulation pain help!!!!???????

I am on day 12(I have a 32 day cycle) and I have slight cramoing in my right side. If this is the start of ovulation when am I most fertile? My husband works away and is only due back tomorrow evening. We never seem to be able to syncronise his leave with my ovulation and I was so happy that this month we could. Does this pain sound like I am ovulating?

The pain could be anything....

I would be doing the deed every couple of days anyway to make sure that you are covered.

If you want to know for sure when you are ovulating you really need to either use opks or take your temps.

Yes I know I should be doing it every other day but my husband doesn't live in the same city and is only back tomorrow evening so that is why I wanted to know if anyone knows if you have pain before you ovulate or does it mean I have ovulated already? I know I should be doing temps. My gynea said not to use opk as they are really unreliable.
