Ovulation pains???

Is it possible to ovulate 5 days earlier than normal? Im experiencing very bad cramps and clear stretchy CM but not due to O for another 5 days
My OPK hasnt arrived yet so I am unable to test too.

On a positive note my crying without reason has calmed down and I feel back to myself, which has made my OH very happy as Ive stopped biting his head off

Yes, this is very possible. The number of days before O can vary widely, but the number of days after O generally stays consistent.
