Ovulation spotting

Something I've noticed every cycle is I've never spotted during ovulation. Is this normal? If you don't spot does it mean you didn't ovulate? I temp every day. Same time. Just by using temps I know I ovulated this cycle but I didn't spot. Help?

I'm pretty sure that ovulation spotting isn't very common. Until this month, I have never noticed ovulation spotting. (I'm 30, have had my period for 20 years, and have two children ages 12 and 7.) This is my first cycle ever with "ovulation spotting", and I'm not even convinced that is what it was. It could have been mid-cycle breakthrough because I just had a chemical pregnancy.

All that to say, I would not worry about if you've never had ovulation spotting. Chances are that you are ovulating just fine.
