ovulation sticks going crazy, help!

So this is first month of ttc for a second child. I started using opk a week after period abd when I got the first lines I thought it was positive so we dtd for next few days. However I didnt realise that a positive opk should be dark like control line, so I had stopped testing and not definite if ovulated.

Fast forward to this week and I've been taking pg tests even though af isnt due till 4th, im a poas addict! Of course they're negative! But I've also been doing opk and the line has been getting darker and today is only a tiny bit off positive.

To get to the point, could I be ovulating this close to period??!! Help x

Are your cycles regular?
I just got my first pos opk at cd28; normally I have 36-38 day cycle.
You could have a short luteal phase, or your cycle could be different this month
