Hi,
I'm new to all this and just sort of dipping my toes into it all. Ovulation test strips... How many days do you get a positive on them? I assumed it was just positive on the day you ovulate but I am now on the 5th day of getting a positive? Have I just got a dodgy batch of tests or is this how it works? They are just cheap one step ones off ebay.
Thanks ladies x

I think everyone varies. Some people have a short surge of a few hours, others 1 or 2 days.

But an ovulation strip works differently than a pregnancy test. For it to be positive your test line needs to be as dark or darker than the control line. Is that what you are getting or you're just getting a line that is not as dark or darker than the control line? There are some nice apps like premom that analyze your test too and give you a low, medium and high score which could help you sort the positive/near positive

I mean I have heard of some people having a long surge so it could be but 5 days sounds a bit long. Do you have photos?
