Pain 'deep' inside bump

I keep having really painful bump pains - my bump will go rock solid & then it eases, I assume these are braxton hicks which are fine, but then at other times my whole bump actually hurts and the only way I can kind of stop it hurting is to 'push' it out...it's like a pain deep inside, really hard to describe...

Not sure if this is normal?

No I don't have a number for my midwife. I can ring the labour ward but wanted to see if it was something common first so I don't look an idiot!!

yes id ring and explain. its prob baby leaning inside you down hard but its deffo a check up in need xx

Ok, thanks. It started last night & kept me awake at 3am and now it's coming and going & when the pain is there it hurts. It's not like a contraction pain it's just like it's majorly tense & just hurts, best way I can explain it
