Morning ladies, i'm just writing this quickly as i'm feeling so incredibly lousy :cry:

My lower belly is really tender and has been for weeks now, but this morning its been hurting me on the left hand side where babe's chest/back is located. I used my doppler there this morning to find her heartbeat and since then, its been feeling incredibly achey.

Shes moving around fine, but i worry that i've done some damage or something, i didn't even press down on my belly or anything, the slightest touch yet it feels like i've been kicked so hard :cry:

Its upsetting me, i hate hurting and not knowing why - i breathe in and out and it aches. I feel so crappy :cry: What could this be?

Thank you :hugs:

Aw Gem, why don't you call your community midwife or your local maternity ward for some reassurance. I'm sure everything is absolutely fine and it's just the weight of baby stretching everything... or maybe it's the start of some contractions?! :)
have you got a midwife appointment booked this week?
:hugs:

Thanks Lilli :hugs::flow:

I just feel so incredibly crappy today, its horrible! I do have midwife tomorrow morning. I'm reluctant to phone the community ones just due to past experience of them panicking and telling me to go to A&E - when 1) i can't get there unless i phone my dad to take me, which seems like i'd be making it into a huge deal and 2) all i really want is some advice on what it could be or how to alleviate the pain - i don't need to be panicked and stressed out! :shrug:

I'm going to go out for a walk in a short while and see how my belly is when i'm home. I'm so very tired of worrying about random aches and pains, i'm supposed to be on the lookout for labour pains, but all i'm getting is these horrid pains which make me worry :cry:

Yeah, community midwives aren't always the calmest :)
If it's still hurting after your walk, why not call your local delivery suite then? Think they are probably more knowledgable about ladies in your stage of pregnancy than community midwives who only see babies born if it's a home birth?! Bet they tell you to have a warm bath and take a paracetamol!
I'm sure it'll just be that baby is dropping lower and lower ready to make her entrance and it's pulling all your muscles terribly...
Dont worry at home on your own though, i'm sure your dad would far rather run you to the hospital for a quick check up than for you to be home alone and upset!
:hugs:
