Pain - is it bowels (tmi)

Most of this is toilet stuff you may not want to read.

I started taking pain in bed last night (enough to waken me and keep me from sleeping). It was at the front, in my side and in my back. It sort of felt like I was constipated, but I have been going normally. It settled down after a few hours and this morning I went to the toilet for a bowel movement and there was sooooo much. all normal, as in not diahorrea and not straining to go, though I did feel some cramps while I was on the toilet, that gave me the urge to do more.

I am starting to get the pain again. There also seems to be pain where I think my ovary may be, and also at the side about waist height.

I had a scan on Monday and all was looking fine with baby, though there was a shadow in my womb that looked like blood. I also had some cysts noticed on the ovary on the same side I am getting all the pain in, in February. The biggest of these was only 2 x 2cm, so they weren't concerned about it.

Do you think this could just be constipation, or should I ask for another scan to see if there is anything more sinister going on. I cant imagine they will scan me with only pain. And everything is probably fine when there is no blood.

Sometimes gas pain will hurt A LOT. So that's what it might have been? You could always ask for another scan though if you want to.

it could be gas,,,,, that pain sucks!
try rubbing your belly in circular motions for a bit to see if that helps!
if it doesnt go then maybe speak to dr/midwife xx
