Hello ladies!! I dont think my bf and I have been very successful with the Bd'in. I think my cm was dried out from the clomid because I never have this problem!! It was very uncomfortable and painful and we used lots of lube..sorry tmi. Felt like my ovaries were about to explode or somethin. And this am when I woke up I had sharp pelvic pains...almost like gas pains. I actually had these sharp needle like pain since my positive LH surge on cd10 and I'm now cd15. My body is all out of whack bein on clomid!!!!!

Does anyone have this problem?? With dry cm does this mean we wont conceive??

I've had this pain happen before - don't know what exactly it means...but I have had it multiple times (not on clomid). And yes, clomid can dry up CM. Last cycle was my first on clomid and based off of others recommendations I took mucinex during the week around ovulation to increase CM. It seemed to work. Also, I lube can be hostile to sperm so I ordered some pre-seed that is supposedly the only kind that is "sperm friendly". It is expensive and I could only find it online, but I love it. You can google it if you haven't heard of it. Good luck. It's your 2nd clomid cycle, right? Me too - take my last pill tomorrow. =)

Hi Ladies - I'm on my 2nd round of Clomid too (took my 2nd pill today), I'm on 100mg. Last month, when I ovulated on Clomid, my ovaries felt so swollen, like they were going to explode as well, and I felt like something was pushing on my bladder (which made me need to wee a lot! TMI!). I had really sore nipples too. But a few days after ovulation, everything subsided.

I've ordered some preseed for this month, as last month felt a bit dry! With Mucinex, do you mind me asking how much you're taking and which version of Mucinex?

Is anyone doing anything about thining of uterine lining? I've read about taking baby asprin, but I haven't spoken with anyone who has actually done this...

    Thanks for sharing! :)

Thanks girls i feel a little better. i just feel like i "f"D" up this cycle due to me not preventing the dry cm. I hope it doesnt mess up our chances to conceive. I guess we will have to see...good luck to you both!!!

I have heard about taking asa to help uterine lining but havent heard much feed back on it. I will have to do some research. I will do whatever it takes to get my :bfp:

Good luck to you too baby wisher! :)

BTW, are any of your girls charting as well? I'm on 3rd day of clomid, and my temperature is rising quite a bit, my AF low temp didn't stay around for long! Any ideas what this means??

I use just regular mucinex (actually the generic brand). i read somewhere - don't remember where - that you should use the kind where the only ingredient is guaifenesin. i took it according to the package directions a couple times a day and it seemed to help.

i haven't done anything about the uterine lining yet but I'm am worried about it. how should you take the aspirin? 1x/day? how long?

i do chart but I don't temp. i tried a couple of times to temp and my numbers were waaay sporadic. i don't sleep well and tend to get night sweats so the temping wasn't a good measure for me. sorry i can't help there!

good luck this month gals. when will you be testing?

I heard of people taking baby asprin (i.e. no more than 81mg) once a day only. It's supposed to improve the blood supply to your uterine to reduce thinning. I'm not sure how long you take it for (check google, there's tons of stuff on it). I was going to find out today, but I got distracted - as if we didn't have enough trouble with my lack of ovulation, we just found out today that my DH has extremely low sperm motility (14%!). He is seeing a urologist tomorrow to see if there is anything we can do....otherwise, it looks like we need to turn to IVF <gulp>

I'm currently on my 3rd clomid pill day, so testing is still a bit away... How about you guys?

I will be testing in 11 more days. My cycles are usually 28-33 days. I really might wait til AF comes. Do you girls test with OPK"?. I dont know if you read my threads but I have had a +opk for 8 days and the test line and control are the exact same color!! I dont know what this means.

I do chart but I dont temp. tried it and I suck at it!! Sorry that i cant help.

hya baby wisher, i too advise u find a sperm friendly lube+ use it in abundance as sperm can travel threw it like it would our fertile cm...!! I hav also herd egg whites hav similar effect, although its a little gross i must admit after reaading 1 site about it i was sooo tempted, as i cant buy pre seed anywhere near me, then in uk we hav concieve plus which doesnt kill any sperm, pre seed kills a little (we hav low sa's so dnt want to kill any swimmers :) ) an i get the pain when im ov'in with out clomid if it happens to poke near which ovary im oving frm (again tmi) but with clomid my ov pains r 10x worse than normal...im ov'ing + dont i knw it...! Good luck x x

babywisher, keep us posted with the testing - you never know it might be just fine! i've never had an opk stay positive that long. i read somewhere that clomid can make you have false positives on opks especially soon after taking the pills.

I just took my last pill last night so I should be testing around the 4th/5th of Jan.

Last month was only my 1st on clomid but I too had really, really bad OV pain. There were a few hours when I couldn't hardly move. Even laughing was painful!

Sorry to hear about your DH's SA Joli. =( I'm a bit worried about my DHs count too but haven't had it checked yet.

    good luck this month gals!

ok update girls...I tested again this morning (OPK) and the lines are a little faint so I'm assuming its negative. That was really odd to me. And you are right Stina...I heard that clomid can give u false positives. And i realized this am that I had creamy white cm (TMI)...and I am having AF cramps, bb's are more sore than they have been but thats typical PMS symptoms so I dont know if my mind is playin tricks on me... which we all have. I am CD18 today. Just keepin ya girls updated.

What cycle day are you girls??

Since you can only take clomid for a limited number of cycles, it might be an idea to get your DH checked - I'm sure it's probably fine, but it will put your mind at ease... We're going to see a fertility specialist tomorrow to see what the best way forward is... since I'm already on clomid this cycle, it might be an idea to do IUI...we'll see!
