My LO has been going crazy for the past few days. Its actually really painful now. She is moving about loads and almost sticking entire limbs out my sides. Mostly my right side but sometimes my left.

It takes my breath away as it just feels like something is scraping away the inside of my skin :nope: I don't remember my toddler doing this before he was born so don't know how normal it is. I was in a lot of pain last night, to the point where OH was ready to phone the docs out-of-hours service. Is this happening to anyone else?

She was head down and I hope it wasn't her turning herself flipside. :/

This is happening to me a lot at the moment and I'm worried that baby is turning over or flipping positions. I haven't got an answer for you as to what is going on but when it gets painful, I'll apply counter pressure to the lumps and if it seems to be sticking in an awkward position, I'll lie down on my side for a while to encourage it to settle down!

I have a midwife appointment tomorrow so fingers crossed baby is still engaged and in the right position.

Thanks for replying :)

If I lie on my side, it sometimes makes it worse :dohh: I thought it had settled a bit this morning but came back when we were out walking. At least I@m not alone - if you find out what it is, let me know! My MW only works Fridays so I'd have to wait until then to speak to her!

Im the same! I went to the midwife today and baby has flipped - hes now breech :-( Its so uncomfortable!!! xx

Oh no! I guess you still have plenty of time to turn LO but it sucks! Get bouncing on your ball!

Actually last night, my yoga teacher was giving tips on turning breech babies, and she suggested using a torch (!) or putting a bag of cold peas at the top of your tummy and a hot water bottle on the bottom of your tummy - these apparently work! :)

Yes she did say he has time to move! Just need to get my ball blown up. Lol I like the sound of the peas and hot water bottle though. What a good idea :) xx

Oh dear, midwife said that baby has turned back to back so I need to kneel over my ball, sleep on my left and not slouch on the sofa anymore.

How are you getting on? Has baby settled down yet, and what did your midwife say today?

Oh dear - I hope you can get LO shifted asap!

I didn't call as the pain subsided quite a lot. I think shes still in an ok position though as I can feel her bum coming out the top of my bellybutton most of the time :dohh:

Good luck turning her! z

I had this pain for 2 days, turned out it was LO going from head down to transverse :(
