Painful hips. Can't get comfortable.

Hi

I'm only 5 weeks pregnant. In my last pregnancy I had SPD from 24 weeks that became progressively worse until I had my daughter. Over the last few days I've had pain in my hips, mainly the left but sometimes right, which feels like similar pain and I just can't get comfortable. It feels like if I relax my hips will fall apart!!

Is it possible to get spd this early?!

It must be possible because I'm 4+1 and I have it too

Oh yes!! I am almost 11 weeks now and it gets worse lol i can only sleep on my right side now.

My left hip will kill me if I sleep on my side (either side). It usually stops hurting after an hour in the morning. My OB referred me to a physical medicine doctor to take a look at it. The appt is in two weeks, and hopefully it's something simple to fix up with physical therapy.

I didn't get it til 24ish weeks with my daughter. The pain in the hip has eased now so I think I'd pulled it. However I'm having to go to epu for a scan tomorrow as I have varying levels of one sided pain.
