This is probably going to be a really silly question, so I apologise in advance. I put Amy is pull ups last night for the first time, as getting a nappy on her is really becoming difficult now. It seemed to go well, but I noticed there is like a sticky bit on the back of the nappy. What's this for?

I haven't used pampers,I use huggies...but the lidl pull up's have them too...its so when you roll it up to chuck it away, you can stick it :) and it doesn't just sit open.xxx

I always wondered that to!!! lol x

Yeah its the same with the pampers ones, its so that you can fold the nappy up - took me a while to figure it out though, I even looked on the box to see if there were instructions :dohh:

Sorry to take over your thread but what do you think of the pull ups? Alfie always wears pampers baby dry and they're great. We never have leaks. The active fit were crap for us! Do you think they're as good as baby dry? Thanks x

Good question  We also are very happy with the baby dry, but I figure at some point we're going to want to move to pull ups to make our lives easier.

LOL thanks for this hun. I was sat like an idiot sticking it and unsticking it, wondering what the heck I was supposed to do with it! All night I kept thinking Amy's nappy would fall off :dohh: That makes sense now xxx

Hiya hun - well last night was the first time using them and they seemed grand. Have used them today too and so far so good. We too used baby dry and will still buy the odd box of baby dry, but she is a nightmare at getting her nappy changed now, so for those times the pull ups will be invaluable. I tried the active fit too once and they were crap for us as well xxx

We use Huggies natural fit or super dry (I hate pampers as the fit is awful on DS and that whole chemical burn thing they had in the news freaked me out so I dare not buy them, even in a pinch, now) but we had trouble getting them on him and he does some wee's in the potty so we started using boots pull-ups in the day. Like the others have said they are just to help roll them up to go in the bin but I was confused to start with and DH was convinced they were used to stick them to clothes, lol.

My son who is nearly 2 has used the pampers pull ups for nearly a year now and had no problems with them (we had to switch as lying down wasnt an option for nappy changes no more lol). I actually prefer them...but it takes a bit of getting used to especially changing a dirty nappy standing up :dohh:

I will probbaly do the same with my baby girl...the only think is they're a lot more expensive than the rest...but look out for offers and you usually get then as not that many buy them

xx

I like pampers pull ups :D I use boots own active fits sometimes too...
Took me about 2months to work out what the sticky bit at the back was for lol xxx

Dec has been out of nappies now for nearly a year and a half and I NEVER knew what that was for !! lmao
