Pap & ttc

This might be a daft question but if you go for your pap test can you still TTC that cycle?
I'm due to go for one, but I need to know if I have to avoid TTC that cycle - if so then I'll wait until our 6 cycles of concentrated TTC are over first.

I presume that it's not sensible to go for one post Ov just incase you are/will be pg?

I had mine rescheduled since it was during tww - probably just me being paranoid but I figured better safe than sorry. I can't think of any reason not to ttc that month, tho - but maybe someone else can speak to that aspect...

We just abstained from sex the day before (because that's what it said in the little brochure). I booked it for just after Ov so that I wouldn't be worrying about avoiding sex and missing the egg.

It was actually the doctor who recommended I have it when we went to her about ttc because she said it was important to get things like that checked. I wouldn't put it off, but if you know when you're likely to Ov, time it for after when you'll be winding down on the BD - about 4DPO wouldn't cause any harm because it wouldn't even have implanted yet.

I had mine done as soon as possible. The nurse knew I was ttc so wanted me in as soon as she could get an accurate result.

Given how long we've been trying I really would be too scared to have it done post Ov.
I'll give the surgery nurse a call tomorrow and have a chat I think.
