paper anniversary

Did anyone get their hubbys a paper present for their 1st wedding anniversary? Ive got 2 weeks to think of something

we both bought each other books.
I got him a reference book on 'antique' technology and he got me a couple of books on directing theatre

Ive never bothered but My OH does, lol! He bought us a ormagami (sp?) book and made some for me. was cute.

Im not really big into anniversaries, so we dont do anything expensive etc for them, we just did that and went for a posh meal.

I arranged for us to go to London on the eye and then onto the aquarium and cause I booked it online I printed the confirmation on paper he loved it, we'd never been London together x

Our paper anniversary was yesterday

I did a family photobook for the paper bit for him and he got me the harry potter hardback box set

I bought DH a little tree from the garden shop, since paper comes from trees.

It was nice to plant the tree and remember what it was from. It was also a Paper Birch tree so double whammy!

awww great ideas, we never celebrated anniversaries, actually the day would go by without even thinking about it but since we married we agreed we would make sure we made the effort to celebrate our wedding anniversary....how can you not? lol...........so will be doing the whole traditional wedding anniversary gifts and out for dinner or something ........only been married a month got ages yet anyhow.....will keep a watch on this thread............

bonsai tree (my husband has always wanted one)
a message in a bottle (have seen these online so sweet)

I got him a ticket for a tour of his team's football ground.

Me and my husband did a joint gift. We had a private gender scan and the picture's are our paper gifts.

There was a book that we both wanted that came out the week of our anniversary so we bought that together as a joint gift to ourselves! We're not good with anniversaries and stuff like that!

I named a star for my DH on our first anniversary. The certificate was the 'paper' bit!

Our paper anniversary was in July but we didnt do anything special...I had all the intentions in the world to do this....Cut up a lot of little pieces of paper and write on each one a reason why you love your OH and then put them in a jar and decorate the jar. He can always pull one out when he wants to feel loved. x

We got theatre tickets. Didnt get each other a present but treated ourselves to a weekend in london and watching the lion King. We went to Kenya for our honeymoon-not quite the same but still an amazing experience!
