Hiya

We are attending the 3rd week of parentcraft classes with our local NHS. We didnt attend the first 2 as they were relating to childbirth etc and I have a phobia so wouldnt have been able to sit through them! I was put on the list for this week which me and OH are going to and have been told it involves first few days with baby, health etc. I was wondering if anyone knows what other things you get informed about at these classes and also approx how long they last?

Thanks!!

You get a short tour around the delivery suite also, I didn't bother going back after that as lets just say I'd heard enough to know what to expect :haha:

Lol. Mine is at a childrens centre so no tour for us. They do the tours seperately but i declined due to my phobia. Xx

well for me it was about breastfeeding, showing when first nappy looks like, insisting you leave the car seat in the car

thanks hun, hopefully it will involve a bit of breastfeeding as i missed the seperate one. We dont drive and will likely get a taxi home. Lol. xx

see there is my point, how can some people not bring in car seats............ they have no other option, unless you leave it with the taxi office but then you have to trust them not to drop it etc and fit it correctly

I know not everyone drives. Apparantly at my hospital they dont even check if you have a car seat anymore. I will get hubby to bring it in the day we are going to be going home. I have looked and it is easily fitted in the seatbelt so I am confident in me or hubby doing that. Lol.

xx
