Well.. my Mum and Dad are divorced.
My dad was thrilled but my mum is another kettle of fish.
She is majourly pissed off & is of the opinion that you should be married & thirty.
I doubt she'll warm to it but who knows.
I'm happy I have support from at least one parent

i never thought my mum would come around, but knowing its her grandchild she is soo excited to meet him now ... its great hopefully your mum will do the same
and thats really good that your dads happy. your going to be an amazing mum regardless of what happens

It took my mum ages to come around now she is delighted im sure she'll come around once you show her the pics of the scans?
maybe ask her does she want to accompany you to one?

I had Josh at 17 and my parents went crazy! Didn't talk to me literally 6 months! But as soon as Josh was born they completely changed! They now love being grandparents, and have my two kids at least one weekend out of the month! Im sure that your mum will come round, she just worrys about her little girl, and finds it hard to let go of her and let her grow up! xxx

My mums side of the family have got in contact and disowned me because i'm not getting it 'sorted'.
It was a case of 'screw you'.

Holy crap, what is wrong with parents?!?! There are worse things you are going to do than get pregnant young. When parents disown their kid for getting pregnant they are being the worst kind of parent and so aren't really in a position to judge what kind of parent you'll be. Grr makes me cross. So glad your dad is supportive.
