Saw my dad today and he asked if my 2 month old son was crawling yet!

And the OH came home, and said his mum thinks we should give Josh chocolate for easter! She said its fine cause she gave it to her 5 kids that young!!

I'm sorry but i don't want my sons first taste of food to be chocolate! never mind at 2 months old!

Shes definatly not looking after him!

WTF? Crawling? Oh dear. As for the chocolate, Molly's having none until she's school aged and even then only if she asks.

Ooh god, dont even go there, my MiL thinks that LO should be on baby rice by now, (this was at 5 weeks) and said that because he "should have been sleeping through the night at 10lbs body weight"... Uh hu..

I think parents/inlaws forget the time span in which things happen, and naturally, her 2 kids were eating egg and chips and walking at 2 months old lolol just smile'n ignore thats what I do!!

I think older people forget what age babies really do things.

I keep getting "she will be crawling at 6 months" and "she will be walking soon"

I do get the chocolate thing too though and what really bugs me is that i reply with exactly the same answer everytime. What part of the word NO do some people find so hard to grasp ?

i got this too when asked if LO sleeping through the night yet......why would i want to do this?? it doesnt bother me he's not sleeping through yet (tho he did last night,no baby rice taken) im the one who gets up with him and it doesnt bother me so why should it bother anyone else???

chocolate at 2 months madness......you can only hope that they mean well!!...
