PCOS newly diagnosed - whats the deal

Hi there.
I'm a bit fragile. Today I found out that I have PCOS. I'm sad, but still optimistic, teary but hopeful. Not really sure what I should feel right now - does anyone have any thoughts at all on this and what my chances of conceiving are?

I have pcos and I am TTC - the good news is I am TTC #2 so there is hope! It is absolutely possible, it just takes a bit longer. I have detailed the whole journey in my jornal if you can bear to read my tedious drivvelings. Best of luck to you xxx

I think it all depends on the person really.....
My SIL was diagnosed with PCOS when she was about 12..... She now is 23 and has a 3 yo and an 9 month old.

I was diagnosed with PCOS in may and have been TTC for just about a year.
I was fine at first....trying to stay optomistic.....then I think my feelings caught up with me and I started feeling really down on myself. Now I am better and trying to stay hopeful

I have PCOS and I am still finding it hard to come to terms with things, I have recently been put on MEtformin to bring my weight down so that me BMI is under 35 and thats when I will hopefully be put on clomid to see if that helps.

i was diagnosed with pcos in 2003 after a year ttc but i was overweight (not everyone with pcos is) i spent the last couple of years getting healthy and lost loads of weight and got my bmi down to 20 and i found out at the begining of this year i no longer have pcos
