peeing on test too long?

i read on the frer instructions that you should pee on the test or dip it in your urine for 5 seconds only, if you did it for longer could it give you a false negative? thanks. xx

Depends how much longer hun - ive left it for at least 10-15 and had fine results

I did notice a diff in the test between dipping and peeing on it. and they were FRER tests but i dont know about it being a false negative. Mine were slightly lighter when dipping and im pretty sure i used to overdip!

i worry if you pee on them it wont get enough on there so always dip and never had a prob

if u dip too long it can give false results though i would think it would be a false pos (due to a stronger evap) because too much pee travels up the stick saturating the line
