People Who Have Gave Birth Overdue!

When did you give birth what gestation were you, and did you have any idea that day you was going into labour?

Hi,
I was 40+6 with my first baby when I had her-I had a sweep that day and that night I went into labour. I had a feeling I was starting going into labour as my stomach felt a little tight (I hadn't had a single braxton hicks throughout the pregnancy)

I was 7 days overdue with my first, only sign i had was a massive clear out (sorry, tmi) and contractions started about an hour later. With my third I was 6 days overdue, again no signs at all, contractions started all of a sudden and a clear out (sorry, tmi) followed after they'd already began. It'll happen when it happens I suppose. Not having any signs or symptoms doesn't mean you won't go into labour xx I didn't have a sweep or anything with either x

i get braxton hicks but thats it im 40+2 today and really think im going to be here forever have an induction next saturday if nothing but that means october! i wanted him september loooooool but having no other signs except for BH'S

I had five sweeps and nothing. I refused induction and got to term + 16 and my bp went up so was induced at term + 17 and dd arrived on term + 18.

Baby number 1...5 weeks early. c-section

Baby 2, 11 days over and i thought i had wind. was booked to have a section because i was sooooo overdue, went to hospital to have a check up and was in labour, not wind. hahaha!

Baby 3, 10 days over and i went naturally.

Baby 4, 5 days over, tummy clear out then contractions started an hour later, she was there an hour after the contractions started.

Same...had sweep and went into labour that afternoon, DS born the following morning, I had no signs that I can remember except losing my plug about 2 weeks prior. I had BH from 36 weeks that kept getting my hopes up.
