Period due today, but...

So my cycles have been very regular, 30-31 days. Today is 31. Usually I spot a little the day before. I had some major cramps two days ago for the whole day, then it stopped. My boobs are still real sore. I hate getting my hopes up, but....it's almost my birthday. This would be the BEST birthday present.

So, what do you think? Late period or should I test (I'm afraid)?
