Period of miscarriage

so 2 years ago I had my tubal ligation after had my third child,well this month I was like 3-4 weeks late then yesterday got bad cramps and heavy bleeding with tiny clots.Do you think just a heavy period or did I have miscarriage my boobs also very sore!
