Period pains after an internal scan?

I have slight period pains now after my scan today, is this normal after an internal scan? Never had one before always been external.

hi there, can i ask wat the reason for having a internal scan was for ? just so i can get a picture of wat it could b. i hav had to hav a few and it shouldn't b painful. but i'm sure that aterhaving something put inside u and ur pregnant it mite just b it all settling down again after being moved around. i had to hav my internal scans due to a lot of gyne ops and a miscarriage in june. ur body is changing so much.. i get lil twinges after sex sorry for tmi! lol.. as long as ur not having any bleeding or pain that feels like ur being stabbed.. try not to worry. sending u sticky dust! x

I had a bit of pain after both of mine this time and i had a little bleeding too. I called epu and was told that if they have to move the wand in some rather difficult angles it can irritate your cervix and cause muscle spasms but it is nothing to worry about. When i had mine they were pulling that thing at all kinds of angles to get a good look, it actually hurt a little. Just be sure to take it easy today xxx

Hi and thanks ladies, gemstone I went for an early pregnancy scan this morning to see if it was viable, I have another thread in here if you are interested. Mixed outcome really.
