Period week late and only faint lines on frer- please help!

Hi girls,

I'm going through the mill a bit here!

Im on holiday in Portugal, my period is now a week late and still no af.

I brought a frer with me and did it two days ago....Got a bfp!
Over the moon obviously ...BUT it was very faint

I made hubby rush to the nearest chemist and get two more tests. The only ones they have are predictor tests that claim to test at 12.5 mil.

Done one yesterday and this morning and just extremelly faint lines. (Not as strong as frer)

Surely by now I should be getting very obvious lines??

So so worried it's a chemical

Any advice? Xx

The faint lines u are getting are signalling that your HCG may still be low, and every women/ pregnancy is different.. so the best thing u can do, is to get a HCG blood test done asap...i dont think that it means u will have a chemical LuV.... & some women get there BFP weeks after there AF is due

From my previous experience with my DS, it's more important that your HCF levels are doubling every 24-48 hours. So I would go to doctor and they will do your bloods for a few days in a row. X

This mornings test has got a bit darker so it looks more positive now ...

Going to 'try' and forget about it for the rest of the hol and then buy a million frer when i get back!!

Maybe buy a couple of clear blue ones with the conception indicator so you can see clearere that your HCG is progressing . Enjoy Portugal!

I lost my long, helpful comment. So in a nutshell, frer is 6.3 so don't stress lol. Enjoy your vk with your bean in mind and book am appointment for bloods two days apart if you are concerned.

I would love to post pictures but as I'm away I only have limited internet and even if I did it doesn't seem to work on my mobile.. Any ideas?

Unfortunately they just don't have other test brands around here. It's very quiet and so the chemists all just stock the same one test I've even asked at reception!!!

I'm going to have to just wait it out now!! Hubby has promised we'll get loads of tests on way home from airport next week! I can't wait to poas again!

I got a faint line on the day when i went for B-HCG.
My levels were above 1000 and still i got a faint line.
That's why people say a line is a line. From a line you can't predict your HCG levels.
Go for the Blood test after vacations and repeat same after 48/72 hrs.

Home tomorrow so going to get a frer and a digi!

Two tests I've done have def lines on so keeping everything crossed that I'm
Now 5ish weeks pregnant!!
