History (Any significant illnesses or hardships, etc): He suffers from Wobblers disease which is where the vertabrae in his back fuse together over time which can be extremely painful for him and he barely moves on a bad day, buit most of the time he's fine and he is a bundle of energy and stupidity.

Why did you give him/her that name: She was already called that when we got her from the RSPCA.
Nickname(s): Jessle Ressle, Jess Ress, Jessle m-Ress Ress and variations thereof!
Breed and Species: Probably a staffordshier/labrador cross but we don't know. And dog!
Age: Dunno, maybe about 8.
Give 5 words that best describe your pet: clever, cutie, smelly-farter, cheese-lover, best!
History (Any significant illnesses or hardships, etc): Left abondoned starving in a yard. We got her from the RSPCA where she'd been for a year. Despite lots of interest in her people were put off when they found how afraid she was of men. They were all idiots because she got over it in no time having a loving family to be with and she is quite honestly the best dog I've ever known! She has allergy to protein and needs a low protein diet, which is pretty much impossible so has to take anti-histamines.

Favorite toy: Frisbee and Gorilla (a generic term for all soft toys to be gutted).
Favorite treat: Cheese
How are they with kids?: Fab!
Training (Tricks, etc): She can do anything. Taught to wave with two treats, three tries and has remembered it ever since. She's very clever!
Favorite sleeping spot: Our bed that she's not allowed on followed by wherever she thinks Ebin wants to sleep.
Best quality of your pet: All of them!
Likes: Cheese, gorilla, frisbee, chewing sticks most food, scrobbling on her back on top of whatever toy or stick she's playing with, getting on the settee/our bed when we're not looking.
Dislikes: Ebin sometimes especially when he poos on his bed next to her by mistake, spam, vegetables and fruit, plastic chew toys, strange men.
Describe their personality: She is super-clever so gets grumpy as all clever people do when she can't get what she wants. She's hugely lovable and tolerant of all things kids might do, even a strange autistic boy who accosted her when she was at the vet and terrified. She's still not sure about strange men but tends to love all men who are our friends very much indeed! She gets grumpy with Ebin a lot. She farts when she woofs at the door (does that count as personality?) She's very energetic and playful and gets on well with other dogs but is scared of german shepherds since being attacked by one.
Stories: One time a friend of ours shared a spam patty between Jess and her dog. It was when Jess slept in our room and sometimes on our bed a few years ago. She was upset all night and insisted on being in our room, then up on the bed, and she could only get comfortable on her left side next to me so ended up farting in my face which was a little too much! I ended up sat at the back door in a duvet for most of the small hours of the morning while she pottered about the garden, farting, in a disgruntled manner!

Why did you give him/her that name: The mad woman we got him from said his previous owner called him Ebony. She thought this was a girl's name (??) and so called his Ebsy, clearly a better name... He didn't seem to answer to either but just in case we went for Ebin as it is similar but way better than bloody Ebsy!
Nickname(s): Ebinator, Pain. Hermanerm (it took a long time for him to know his name from any other sound so almost anything would do!). Ebin Bin-sniffer
Breed and Species: Black labrador, dog.
Age: Dunno, probably about 11, maybe older.
Give 5 words that best describe your pet: Pain, cutie, scared, old, happy.
History (Any significant illnesses or hardships, etc): We found him whilst walking Jess, chased him down thinking he was one of the dogs we knew but he wasn't. No tag and we were having a big party at home so we took him to the police leaving a message that if no-one claimed him we'd take him. Got a phone call from the police a couple of days later, he'd been claimed by a local woman who said she was interested in giving him to us!!! We went round to her house and she was an absolute horror. She'd had him onyl a couple of weeks, bought him for £50 from a free ad paper thinking it was a bargain for a lab. She'd collected him from the side of the A1 in Co. Durham from some farmer type, he only had a horses rope thingie round his neck. We later found out from dog-walking friends that she'd been letting him out all the time as many of them ahd tried to pick him up. We couldn't leave him there and in the end DH went round to take him from her. She asked for the £50 she'd spent which made me sick to the stomach but DH paid her something so we could just rescue him. Once we got him we realised in what a terrible state he was. He was enormously underweight, he had septic gums, she'd been over-feeding him on huge cans of meat so his poo was like torpedos, he had shocking arthritis in both his left legs (later the vet said it probably originated from being hit by a car on that side). We spent loads of money getting his teeth cleaned and fixed, getting him done, getting his arthritis on to treatment etc. He was the most afraid dog I've ever seen in my life. He's so happy now but he's still very nervous. When we got him we couldn't get him inside the house, then once carried in we couldn't get him out. He had to be carried everywhere because he only ever felt safe in one place. He chewed all DH's clothes when we were out. He weed and pooed in the house for 6 months. He was startled if we sneezed, coughed, laughed suddenly, if there was a piece of paper hanging over the edge of the table, if a plastic bag crinkled in another room. There can never have been such a scared dog in all the world.

Favorite treat: Anything, he's eat swill (I suspect that's what he did eat).
How are they with kids?: Scared of noisy ones so he hides. Would never ever hurt anyone though.
Training (Tricks, etc): None, he's very stupid indeed. We haven't even been able to teach him to sit! He has learned 'stay' but it doesn't last long!
Favorite sleeping spot: his big flat bed in a quiet place.
Best quality of your pet: He is adorable! He's so happy now he is with us which makes it worth every moment of difficulty and expense we have had with him.
Likes: Me and DH. Food, sleep, sniffing poo, licking wee, unnecessarily following us up and down stairs when he's excited. Likes it when you mimic snapping jaws with a hand, makes him roll over and play!
Dislikes: Sounds, new things, kerbs, dinner bowl on a hard floor (his has a rubber ring round), small dogs and puppies that get in his face, strangers.
Describe their personality: He is a total cutie-pie soft touch but terribly scared of everything. He is happy though and loves us. He wants a quiet life (the baby will be a sad shock!).

My cats are my world. I would love more pets but hubby says they would get too jealous which they would. Charlie cant go an hour without attention or he gets in a foul mood. So I have come up with a solution. I am training to be a dog groomer and a pet psychologist so I can be around animals alllllll day

How are they with kids?: She used to hate kids. Now she isn’t as bad since living with us. She tolerates them and sometimes will even rub up around them etc but hates being grabbed at by the real little ones.

Favorite sleeping spot: Anywhere really…she kind of has fave sleeping spots for a while and then switches to a new spot

Describe their personality: Her personality has changed since she moved here. She is more loving, loves to be up with us. She especially loves her daddy. She isn’t as cranky as she used to be. She can be lazy but for being a pretty old cat she still will play as if she was a kitten.
Stories: She used to love our rabbits. Our rabbits were in big homemade pens in the “dining room” (we never used the dining room for eating) without tops on the pens so Destiny used to jump in with them, sleep with them and clean them. She loved them just as if they were her kittens. We raised the rabbits from babies so she was around them a lot. This was all before she ever had a litter of kittens. She now has had around 5 litters and 2 of my other cats are from her. She also used to carry around her collar when she would get it off or an old collar around the house while meowing for us to look at her, proud almost like she had caught a mouse. It was very sweet.

History (Any significant illnesses or hardships, etc): I bought her from a pet store. She was a few months old and no one had bought her yet so her price was marked down. I had to put down my other kitten (6months old) the same day I bought her because he had a form of leukemia that the tests never picked up on. He got sick very fast. My mom didn’t want me to go without a cat because she knew how attached I was to him and I have to say she was the best decision I had ever made. Besides my deceased cat she was the first cat I had when I lived on my own.
