I don't know how, but I think I have just given myself piles and lost my mucus plus at the same time...

I've been pretty constipated throughout the whole pregnancy, but recently its been that bad, I've just been straining til the sheep come home. Well same thing happened tonight. About twenty minutes into the straining I realised I felt a bit 'wet' down the front bit, so confused I got a tissue and wiped... Only to find a snotty substance (only a teeny tiny bit) was on the tissue. My discharge has been quite white and creamy lately, and it followed after the snot stuff so I was just wondering if it was a bit of my plug? I'm not sure.

Any way after I'd finally made progress on the pooing front, I noticed I was very numb down there, I now have a few raised bubbles. And one big one right next to my number two hole, the big one being right on my perineum. GREAT.

Sorry about how graphic I was, I just couldn't describe without the details! Anyone willing to offer either advice or thoughts on each of the two topics more than happy to reply I would be eternally greatful, coz I am VERY confused right now!

Oh, and in addition I have been getting quite frequent BH's since wednesday, and one particularly strong one tonight, so I know things are progressing down there! X

Is there blood in the snotty stuff? I've been losing the 'snot' for a few weeks now. It's worth noting that your poo can contain mucus too, if it's not as healthy as it might be xxxx

hi there, i dont know about the plug situation but it definitely sounds like the start of piles, there is not alot you can do about it im afraid, doctor told me they probably wont go away till after bubs is born, get some anusol and it will bring them down though, i have had them for weeks, its starting to get very irritating now!

Thnak you for the replies. I had a bath and it eased them a bit, i only have one bubble now (the big one) and that seems to have gone down a bit - but its still there!

The snotty stuff was definately from my front and and it didnt have a bloody tint it was all one colour (there was only a tiny bit really). Thought it was clear at first but looked like it had a yellowish tinge to it? I keep worrying that i unnaturally forced it to come out lol

I shouldn't think so lovely.... I didn't have it at all with DS1, but it's been rather plentiful this time since about 30 weeks! You could do worse than see your GP, to rule out infection xx
