Pill and Antibiotics

Hi i'm new to this and I am just wondering if anybody here got pregnant while taking antibiotics and also on the pill? I have been on the pill for over a year now and i was recently put on antibiotics for a week. I'm wondering if I could have got pregnant during this week???? any advice/comments would be appreciated

I didn't but I know my OH's sister got pregnant whilst she was on antibiotics (she was on the pill). xx

Yeah I got pregnant on the pill. But I wasn't taking antibiotics at the time. It's just the pill is 90% effective and didn't work. Not saying it's a bad thing cause I have a beautiful girl on the way but would recommend doubling up the contraception when on the antibiotics.

I was on the pill and I took a course if antibiotics I got pregnant silly of me really as I knew I was succetible...

I didn't but if you are on the pill & taking antibiotics then it will significantly increase the risk of becoming pregnant.
If you were in this siuation I would suggest using back-up (condoms etc.)

I suggest you take a test if your period doesn't arrive If AF does turn up in future its best to use condoms when your on antibiotics
