Was having a peek over in 3rd Tri and i came across this post and thought I would share with all you 2nd tri laddies as well,as we will all be using them

Boots apparently have an offer on their Huggies Newborn starter Kit,was £5 now £3.33,it includes 27 nappies,67 wipes,a little hat and some money off vouchers

their is also a £2 off Huggies Newborn coupon inside, and here is the good bit,you can use it against another Huggies Newborn Starter Kit costing you just £1.33 for the second one,not bad i thought

And someone else posted that Asda where selling it also for £3.00,so even more savings

This was originally posted 3days ago so I will be popping over to Boots and Asda this afternoon to see if the promotion is still on

will update all you ladies later,Oh and apparently you can get it on line at boots as well

Hope this helps as we all will be needing newborn nappies:happydance:

wow that is good

but i will be using pampers, as have done for all four

but great savings....

Pampers are a lot better IMO than Huggies, personal preference tho

I saw that deal I got two of the huggies starter packs for £6 bargain!!!!! I was being a bit of a brand snob and wanted only pampers but then I saw the price of nappies and decided it's a waste to not buy bargains and my baby is being potty trained at 3 months.

Im a Huggies Mummy lol,I just couldnt get on with Pampers,so it was Huggies with my last two and will be with this one and hopefully will be saving me a few pennies today lol

Potty trained at 3 months?? Do you think your 3 month old with have full CNS awareness that he/she has a full bladder or bowel at that age?

I personally dont like huggies. We used to use it when Lily was born due to it being cheaper but the wipes were useless and kept tearing and the nappies were uncomfertable for her and kept giving her rashes.

I just have to remember to take scissors with me so that i can cut out the voucher to use on a second Starter pack,as the money off voucher is printed on the inside of the box,so be careful how you open your boxes

I'm only jokin ladies not 3 months unless I was a miracle worker! but asap. I got them in Boots in Hammersmith I think it might only be that one that had that deal on.

Phew lol, I was wondering if you were kidding or a bit mental :)

It was me that posted it in 3tri instead of 2nd tri by accident lol.

I went down today to get myself some more for a grand total of £1.33!! The deal is still on, dont know when it's due to end though xx

I bet someone in the world has a 3 month old potty trained baby. That would be really fantastic not mental!

lol it would also be bullshit :)

I think realistically most toddlers tend to be arund 2-3 yrs, you cant force bladder awareness on a kid if the CNS just isnt developed enough for it.

But nappies yeah, excellent deal to be had :D

I think when they can talk and understand then they are ready to start learning.

It's not to do with talking and understanding though it's to do with their central nervous system, it's need to be mature enough to interpret particular messages associated with the bladder/bowel.

They have to recognise the sensations felt when having a full bladder, and the sensation felt when that bladder is emptied. And recognise when this happens. It's not necessarily about learned behaviour, it's physiological to begin with. Only when the physical signs are recognised can the learning begin.

I'm going to try and attempt to use re-useable nappies - my local area has a good service that picks up filthy nappies, and drops off fresh ones each week.

But I will get huggies/pampers for emergencies and when we are out and about.
