Hi Folks :)

I don't quite trust the test results yet, but after 8 +ve's I thought I might brave posting here to say hi :)

I miscarried @ 10 weeks in September, and then had a few months of prolonged bleeding that was eventually put down to fibroids and polyps - I was pretty worried by it all but was eventually told that, since the fibroid is positioned at the base of my uterus, it shouldn't effect my fertility.

So here's hoping that's true :)

It's early days (just over 4 weeks) and I'm desperately hoping for some definite symptoms - I remember symptom-hunting last time around and continually hoping that their absense didn't mean anything.

My fiance knows, but I've got a sort of mental block about telling anyone else - even the midwifery. When I miscarried, the hospital told me to ask for an 8 week scan if I fell pregnant again. So I guess I will give them a call on Monday :)

Anyhow, hi all :)

Hi and Congratulations on your BFP!

I have been in same boat as yourself (more than once!). I have not told my GP that i am expecting, nor have i told the midwife! (LOL)... I contacted the EPAU at 7 weeks so i could have a scan, i knew there was not much point before that as there was unlikely to be a heartbeat prior to that! I have been to the hospital today for my 3rd scan, which is the 12 week scan, and got told off by the MDAU for not having told my midwife! i got sent away with words of advice to call her! l have now rung and left a message on their answerphone!

I am sending wishes and all the best for your pregnancy! and lets hope that this is a sticky bean!✿*゚‘゚・✿ HUGS ✿*゚‘゚*✿

Congratulations on your bfp :) hope you get your early scan - they are very reassuring.

Hello, welcome and congratulations!

I didn't get any symptoms until about 7 weeks when the nausea started, so try not to fret. Every pregnancy is different.

Fingers crossed this is a sticky one and that you have a very happy and healthy 9 months.

Take care,

Michelle X

totally agree that not one pregnancy is like the other.. congrats on ur bfp! :O) x

Welcome to the board. Lack of symptoms really doesn't mean anything. Also most symptoms don't start until 6 weeks anyway. xx

thanks all :) xx
My logical brain tells me no symptoms are likely so early but my irrational side isn't listening at all ;)
Peril, I feel so much better knowing someone else hasn't told the midwife - I hadn't even thought of contacting the epu directly... I'll see how the mood takes me on monday ;)

thanks again to you all for reassurances xx
