all the tests I've seen everyone post were the pink/red dye- all I've got is blue- although its a cheap walgreens test it says you can take up to 5 days early- should I wait til AF is due? I don't wanna have an evap line or anything...

Unfortunately, I never trust a blue dye :/

I've tested three times in the past 2 days...

-2 BFPs with blue dye
-1 BFN with digital

I'm testing again with digital on Wednesday (missed AF). If it's a BFP, I guess the takeaway is blue dye is more sensitive... But I suppose that explains the false positives linked to blue.

FX!

UPDATE: Just got a BFP with FRER. So my vote is that blue dye is more sensitive. Just don't trust a result after 10 min. My 2 cents.

see I've heard the blue is more common to produce false positives. I know next time I will just buy the tests myself lol- this time my dear lover bought it and he didn't really know what to get haha.

I didn't know about the blue tests either... I've learned a LOT about this whole process in the past two days, that's for sure.

Blue dye tests are known to produce false positives, so I would use caution when using them. Good luck! :flower:

blue dye are known for high false pos, but not because there extra sensitive...

I like blue dye, I think the key is to read them at a bout 5 mins and don't look after 10. You could always try one, if you get a line confirm with a pik dye x
