pink tinge when wiping (sorry!)

Sorry for a tmi thread this early! Last night when I had a wee and wiped, there was small pink tinging on the tissue (it wasnt from the wee!), I had quite a bit of discharge too.

I know you can get pink tinging when you lose your plug, I think Ive been losing little bits of it since about 32 weeks but not had any pink colouring to it before. Is it OK that its pinky coloured when Im only 35 weeks?

normally the plug is tinged with blood so i wud say its normal, just keep an eye and of corse if theres more blood or darker in colour etc then ring ur mw

Thanks, I dont think there has been any since last night, maybe a tiny bit this morning but couldnt really tell 'cos was half asleep! Ill keep an eye on it.

It's normal...

I had the same last weekend, followed by a couple of days of spotting...

With 1st pregnancy I didn't loose my plug until the day I gave birth, with 2nd I lost my plug at about 35 weeks and think its about the same with this one.

Just be sensible if anything frightens you or you have any discomfort or bleeding call you midwife; they're there to settle you as well as advise you, don't be embarrassed they'll have heard most things before...
