Placenta location and gender prediction:)

So did anyone ever hear of this? Supposivly if you take an early ultrasound picture...like 6-8 weeks and if your placenta is growing on the right of your baby or right side of uterus, you will have a boy and if on the left you will have girl It is mirrored if abdominal ultrasound though.....left boy, right girl. What do yours look like?! It actually has a pretty high percentage of being accurate...like 97% or something!! Just for fun what does yours look like?

Well, I think we need to bring this back into discussion! LOL It is so fun! We all should post our pics and guess each others!!!

This is from my 7 week ultrasound It was the transvaginal ultrasound, I honestly cannot tell where the placenta is either!!!!

we we're hoping for a boy, but as long as the baby is healthy I am perfectly happy with a girl!! Thanks for your guess I won't be finding out until about May, when my husband gets back from afghanistan.. it's going to be soooo hard waiting longer but I want him to be here for that!

See i guessed girl based on your profile ultrasound pic.....bc it kinda looked like the cord was going to the left, but the other pic you originally posted looks more boy....I dunno! you may just have to stick it out!! I hate the waiting game!

Oooooooooh interesting,
I'm going for a scan when I'm 7weeks and 4 days so will ask if they can see which side the placenta is on.
I REALLY want another boy, but gut feeling is its a girl x

I don't think you can go by a 8 week scan as the Placenta only starts growing at 9 weeks

I got girl on the Chinese gender predictor and boy on the Brazillian!! LOL ( I know it's not twins as I had a private scan at 8 weeks)... I can't decide on gut feeling.... I'd love a boy but think girl... wondering if it's my way of being happy with either outcome - Either a boy or I told you I was right x

It is the chronic vili that shows bright white on a 6-8 week us that you look for, this is the location the placenta will eventually be growing. So it does work...see thread in post 2 for info on how to do it. Ladies, its not L or R of the photo, you need to know where your cervix is in the pic in relation to placenta location.

With a TV u/s it would be L or R with respect to cervix when looking at pic. With abdominal, its opposite. Mine was TV

From the net, I understand what is the Traditional Gender Chart, but I can't find any information about the Brazilian Gender Chart. Can you tell me more about it? Thanks
