I dont know if this is normal or not, but I don't feel pregnant. I'll be 10 weeks tomorrow and I know thats when the placenta starts to kick in. I'm on diclectin for the sickness (but I run out on friday, yikes!), but sometimes I still feel sick/vomit. Other than the cold sore on my lip (which is huge!), my yeast infection thats now starting to go away finally, all I have is hunger, exhaustion, crankiness/mood swings, cramps off and on like my usual ones, sore nipples off and on and that's it. However, if I don't eat often I do start to feel a bit sick. I know it's probably all normal because I'm getting closer to 12 weeks, but I just wanted to see if others feel this way? I don't feel like there is anything wrong, but I'm just curious. Thanks

I think you're probably getting used to the the symptoms more and more and yeah, probably because youre getting close to 12 weeks. I know I'm starting to adapt more to my symptoms and the tiredness doesn't seem as terrible and the different symptoms are just melding into one big pregnancy lol.

When I hit 10 weeks, I felt really good for a few days. The it all came back. Now at 12+3 I feel sicker than ever:( Diclectin is not even working for me anymore. I think it might just me one last resurgence before MS goes away. But yes, most women start to feel alot better around 12 weeks and after. My fatigue is alot better though. :) I am glad you are starting to feel good :)

I'm the same as you Megan xx not feeling pregnant but feel sick if i don't eat and I'm knackered and moody. Think its normal after I spent all morning worrying lol. Two friends of mine have kids and i spoke to them, and they told me symptoms come and go xx

I hope my placenta kicks in soon - am really hating this sickness malarky! I don't know if it will ever go away completely but it would be nice if it was eased slightly. I've still got my exhaustion and occasional mild cramping and discomfort.xox

Yeah, I'm just using to feeling like shit lol I'm still having weird dreams. Lastnight I had a dream that dolphins were falling from the sky and I was on a boat and I had a friend with me and we fell in the water and the dolphins were there helping us not drown and saved our lives by letting us hang off their fins it was really weird lol

Edit: I found this: To see a dolphin in your dream, symbolizes spiritual guidance, your intellect, mental attributes and emotional trust. Utilize your mind to its capacity and you will move upward in life. Alternatively, it suggests that a line of communication has been established between the conscious and unconscious aspects of yourself. Dolphins represent your willingness and ability to explore and navigate through your emotions.

To dream that you are riding a dolphin, represents your optimism and social altruism.

Interesting lol

When I was at my dating scan where I was 9+1 the sonographer explained that the placenta would start to take over as it formed upto 12 weeks and the yolk sac would just crumble away. She said that most major symptoms would start to lessen the more the time between then & 12 weeks as the palcenta took charge more.

I'm feeling no sickness recently but starting to notice more heaviness in my stomach just this past week. I was more crampy in week 10 and had a bit of nausea. This week ive finally got my energy back. But my sciatica is killing me!!!! My ms with Megan was 100% gone by now as well.

2nd tri for me feels different than first. I was uncomfortable and not myself.... But not sick feeling anymore. First tri to me doesn't feel like "pregnant" just sick. As you have no energy and ms. 2nd tri I had lots of stretching and growing pains, couldn't sleep on my belly anymore, my hips got achy. But overall I felt more myself. Its the trimester where I would go on a vacation if you are going to do one before lo arrives!

I don't feel sick anymore and really do not feel pregnant - I think the stage where you are leaving frist tri and just entering second tri is the worst. No more M/S but not feeling any movement yet!

That said... I still throw up. Just no nausea. I'll be fine one second and all of a sudden get that heavy feeling and bam I have to run for the toilet to throw up EVERYTHING. Weird.

Maybe its the Diclectin actually doing its job?

Well it was a false alarm lol. The next day I ended up throwing up and then again lastnight. So it's still here and now I am out of diclectin pills. Yikes!

does the baby really rely on just the yolk sac for so long? I think its bizarre

It does, until the placenta takes over. And it starts working around 10 weeks and fully working by 12 weeks. I am 10+1 today, so still have about 2 weeks to go.

I have good and bad days. I can't really say any of my symptoms have lessened except the fatigue and that is just mildly lessened because I still have very little energy. The m/s is the one that is giving me the worst time.

Looking forward to some more good days..hopefully!

I wouldn't even count on that... that's the best case scenario. I'm afraid to come off the Diclectin, I just have a feeling that its the Diclectin working to get rid of the nausea more than the placenta taking over. Mostly because I still throw up almost daily. My Ob/gyn has upped my dosage to see if we can stop that too.

haha I know I'm totally not gonna count on that. Because if you're going to vomit you're going to vomit, no matter what! The diclectin does help alot but I still do vomit. It does still work really well though.
