Planning on TTC October 2011

My husband and I have decided to start TTC starting October 2011, I know its hard to plan a delivery date but we are trying for a June/July birth in the summer months when I am not working. Anyone else planning on TTC startin October 2011, if so what are you doing to prepare? This will be my first child, so I am new at all this prep stuff. I already had a pre-conception doctors appointment and am getting my IUD removed September 26th. Started taking pre-natal vitamins, what else do you all recommend?

I find myself thinking of nothing but starting TTC, I walk through the baby section of the store every time and I am already nesting, getting things moved around and imagining where I would put the crib etc

Ha i'm the same... already made a mental list of oh's things that will be thrown away to get the spare room empty! He's not going to be happy ha xx

Not sure if I fit in here or not but me an my DH is planning on starting again in Oct if my Ob gives me the all clear in 2 days to start trying again for our
3rd child...

All things I can tell you to do is eat a lot healthier if not already doing so, cut down on soda's, cut back caffine an also cut back on the sweets, drink plenty of water each day too help keep your body cleaned of toxins.

For us we changed our diet too a lot healthier diet, an eat lots of fresh vegs an fruits an drinking orgainic milk..plus drinking lots an lots of water alone with cutting down on our sweets stuff an sodas...

Good Luck too you ladies on getting pregnant soon...

Aww I'm so jealous we were going yo start TTC in October but we decided to wait until we had moved into our new house so it wont be until about February now!

So happy for all the October 2011 TTC couples, I have been reading a book called Eat to Live that incorporates a ton of fresh fruits and vegetables. Hoping that this will help it be easier to conceive. I am nesting already

My DH and i are going to a TTC October. I took my last pill on Sunday night so am currently awaiting my last withdrawal bleed before its all systems go!

Yep! Well, hopefully Oct 2011!! I have kidney disease and went to see my family doctor for a pre-conception visit and got referred to a high-risk clinic right off the bat! I am so frustrated though because she said I should get in for an appointment in about 4 weeks and it has been passed that and I haven't even gotten a call about an appointment date yet! When I called to follow-up I just got a rude response from her receeptionist that she will call when she knows.

So, still on birth control, still on other medications, but exercising, eating better and I have been taking prenatal vitamins for about 4 months. I keep checking my phone at work hoping for a call so we can start trying soon. I am getting very impatient and resentful that I have to go through all these hurdles already.

Hi Medzi - you must be so frustrated but hopefully it'll all be worth it in the end when you can eventually throw your BC away and hope for the best!

Its mush better to vent your frustrations here than hold it in, the stress will make it harder when you go to TTC. So vent all you want. That is what we are here for.

I would be calling that doctor every day, maybe 2 times a day. I would be a huge pain in the butt until they got me in.

It always takes long in Canada to see specialists - but I'm mad they gave me a timeframe and were so off! They shouldn't give one if it isn't certain.

I will probably call again later this week - I was just so upset after calling last time because she was so rude. I actually don't even know what clinic exactly I am being referred too.

Once I get that call - I will be much more zen

Starting TTC this weekend!!!!!! Started taking prenatals in late July. DH is taking a multi vitamin too. We cook pretty much every night so we eat pretty healthily as it is. So excited!!!! Baby dust to all of us!!!!

My husband and I are going to do some celebrating this weekend, we will celebrate our last weekend, pre-baby, pre-pregnancy, and pre-TTC. Since its also our anniversary we are going to go to the country fair and then to a very romantic dinner on the bay. After that we will be TTC

Yay! Still waiting on my appointment... But my last pill in my birth control pack is this Saturday and I am stopping them!
