Please help- 8 weeks , bleeding & cramping

So last night j had really bad cramps. This morning I had dark red blood which turned bright red . There wasn't loads but I had a pad on. I had lower back pain too. Went to A and E and they scanned me, saw yolk sac and a baby but no heart beat. I'm 8 weeks but I think I implanted late so might be a few days off. They are going to scan me again next week. Bleeding is less now but still cramping a lot . I'm really distressed. Has anyone experienced anything like this? It doesn't sound promising

I had bleeding every day from week 5 to week 10, often accompanied by cramping. Some days it was heavier than a period. My 25 week twin boys are kicking me as I type this.

Sorry to hear this doll. I had light bleeding but no flow and cramps at 6 weeks, scanned at 7 weeks an all was fine. Thinking of u xx

Thanks... bleeding has gone right down and feeling a bit better but still expecting the worst... Its gonna be a long wait till my scan next week!

not had anymore bleeding, but my boobs have stopped being sore and deflated. Preparing myself to bleed any minute/hour/day now
got some low level cramping going on too.
very hard to stay positive, especially at work

The nurse said my dates could be off a bit in which case it's nothing to worry about but i temped so i know exactly when i ovulated and i don't think the dates could be off by more than a week, (so i might be 7 weeks instead of 8). But even at 7, there should be a heart beat and a bigger baby. So in my heart of heart I know what the outcome of this is.
