Hi :flower:

My Los eating has become so bad she is refusing to eat almost every meal I give to her. She was eating only a few select things such as maccaroni cheese but had to be tinned one! Peanut butter on toast, beans on toast. But now she won't even eat those anymore.

She won't eat any meat. She won't eat fish, eggs, pasta, rice, veggies (apart from peas) she loved cereals but won't eat many of those anymore.

The only thing she will deffinately eat is fruit. Sometimes yogurt and sometimes cheese. But nothing else.

I don't know what to do anymore  it's realy getting me down because I know she is hungry as she takes me to the kitchen all day crying for food but refuses everything I give to her, apart from fruit!

Its hard as my daughter can be really fussy as well. Do you try and feed her yourself or leave the food for her to feed herself?
Sometimes I have to follow my daughter around to get food in her mouth, which is so frustrating to do, but otherwise she won't eat. Much to busy playing!
Does she drink milk?

She feeds herself, has done for a while now as she refuses to be fed.
She was doing really good feeding herself, hardly any mess etc but lately it gets thrown all over the tray, squished in etc and then when she's done she throws everything onto the floor!
Yeah she will drink milk, I usually give her a beaker in the morning and a beaker at night.

Evan went through a phase like this recently and we realised he was really feeding off the attention, good or bad. We started putting the food down on his high hair and leaving the room. He often would fiddle, play, say 'don't like it' but we just ignored it and took the food away when he was done. Eventually, when he realised he wasn't getting any attention he started to try a bit and gradually over a few weeks he started eating more and more.

I think the best thing was to give no attention to food at all, not negative or positive. It's bloody hard though.

My ds was the same, his was for attention and control he knew I got frustrated and would refuse it even more, so now I take him to the fridge and ask him what he wants for lunch/dinner and he gets to help make it (safely) I think doing it this way gave him a bit of control and choice and now he is back to eating normaly, also a few weeks ago he went right of his food and would cry when he ate anything it was only after a few days that he started to get a temp that I realised he had tonsilitis :( a course of antibiotics did the trick and he is back to normal. Good luck and try not to let your LO see how much it gets to you.
