Is there something happening around 11 months that makes babies having difficulty sleeping? For the past week we have had a terrible tiem getting my daughter to sleep. She cries very hard when I try to put her down so I have to rock her to calm her down for about 10 minutes. When I'm able to put her down her naps will only last for 30 minutes at the most. Usually about 20 minutes.
When she goes to bed at night she wakes up crying really hard after about 45 minutes. I end up having to rock her for about 20 minutes until she calms down enough t ogo back to sleep. For most of this 20 minutes she is screaming at the top of her lungs. If I take her out of her room into the hallway she generally calms down. Honestly it seems that she's scared of something, but I don't think that's possible.
She doesn't have any teeth, so I thought maybe she's teething, but she doesn't show any other signs. She got over an ear infection a few weeks ago so I don't think it could be that. And she didn't act this way when she had it.
Does anyone have any ideas of what the problem could be?
