Please help, so so worried!! ANYONE?? UPDATE

Ive just had a blob of thick clearish discharge, no bigger than a raisin when i wiped on the loo!

Im really concerned that its my mucus plug and the start of a miscarriage

I do have some mild cramps, like af, normal cramps ive been having for weeks!

Any positive stories?

Please, what do I do?

Didn't want to read and run but a change in discharge is normal in early pregnancy and so is cramping I had cramps so bad with DD but shes a healthy happy 3 year old now xx

it didnt look loke discharge though, was a blob of mucus that looked like my plug

What was the consistency? I don't know what a mucus plug looks like so i don't really know

Sounds horrible but i have loads of discharge since i've been pregnant and it can be really thick some times but it is usually just white! Sometimes i feel like i've started bleeding it can be that heavy (eurgh tmi)

If you are really concerned ring nhs direct?- or try and get in touch with your dr/mw tomorrow?

I'm pretty sure it will be absolutely nothing though, so dont be too concerned!

I think it's normal to lose bits of it through pregnancy (just googled it and there are a number of posts about it), try not to worry too much and give your midwife a call in the morning xx

Just found this on google 'You may notice a small amount of mucus discharge when this plug starts to form' maybe thats what it was?

I had that a few weeks ago, totally normal. You are going to have lots of interesting discharge.

i have mucusy discharge ALL the time. it comes out in big huge blobs. I asked my dr about it because it was a little greenish yellow like the mucus plug, well he said as long as it's not smelly like rotting fish then it's completely normal.

I've had a fair bit of mucus with both pregnancies, all sorts of discharge is normal

i wouldnt worry, your mucus plug comes away nearer the birth and its a BIG pink blob you really will know when its your mucus plug, itll just be normal pregnancy mucus try not to worry x

well Ladies, I rang delivery suite and they advised me to come in! So just been in and I have a scan scheduled for tomorrow so will update then! Hope baby is okay, my urine came back clear!

NHS scan is for Thursday but my in laws dont want me stressing that whole time so they want me to go for a private scan tomorrow, which they'll pay for. But still have my NHS scan, so think we're going to do that!

I'm sure all is fine, sounds totally normal I lost some of my plug at around 25 weeks and boy didn't I know about it, clear mucus is generally fine. Good luck.

it sounds perfectly normal. A lot of women have lost a bit of their plug early on.

I had a massive blob of mucus come out at 9 weeks. Googled losing plug in 1st trimester like mad, but everything was ok. Happened again a few weeks later. It's normal, I am sure all is fine. Good luck with the scan.

I get blobs of clear discharge sometimes, but mainly it's a pale green and like jelly, I've had this with all of my pregnancies, and as others have said its totally normal to lose bts of the plug which then regenerate. Good luck with the scan Hun.

I get this CONSTANTLY too, and every time convince myself I must be bleeding (sorry, TMI!!) but the midwife said its normal. Let us know how you get on x
