Please help! Test getting lighter 17dpo

Firstly I want to give you girls some hope, me and hubby have been ttc for 9 years, we had our first pregnancy in September but after 4 days of knowing I had a bleed, we miscarried.
I had my bloods done at the time and on 15dpo my beta was 17, at 17dpo it was 8!!
We have been doing clomid, menopur and pregnyl.
I got a positive on Tuesday 12dpo and had bloods beta level 24, on 14dpo had repeat bloods and it had gone to 30, not doubled as it should, however 15-16dpo my tests appeared fainter then today 17dpo it's darker again
I really need some advise to see of anyone has experienced this?? Advise needed as I'm sat here going out of my mind

Hi Hun I don't have any experience with this but 17dpo test is definitely darker fingers x for you .

Normally if it's getting lighter, or your HCG levels are getting less/not doubling then it could be a chemical pregnancy unfortunately. However, your 17dpo test is definitely darker so I'm not sure?

Did you use FMU for all of them? Or did you test with more diluted urine some days?
