please help, will MS ever end??

Sorry for the maudlin post but I need to know, will MS ever end and will I ever get back to normal??? Will I ever be able to cook again? Or clean? Will I ever have the energy to do simple things like iron a short again?

I need to know that I will get myself back one day. At the minute I can't even roll over in bed let alone get up and have a shower!!

Please tell me it gets better.

I still have morning sickness about once or twice a week, the only things I've found that helps is Zofran. I really hope yours gets better.

Ah huni, it will get better. I had really bad hyperemesis was in hospital 3times and can honestly say I have never felt so ill and I am not a wimp at all. I couldnt even look after my kids they didnt go to school for 2weeks cos I had no one to help take them, I had to ring my mother to come and feed them I couldnt move off the settee and lost nearly 2stone in weight. Ive been off work since 7weeks. Anyway im 20weeks now and the sickness has dissapeared I feel much much better it started improving from about 16weeks and has now stopped all together. I still have the nausea but I can eat so can cope with that. So there is light at the end of the tunnel, im sure it will pass for u soon. My consultant told me sickness is the sign of a healthy pregnancy xxx

I'm 16 weeks now and I had it really bad at first. I find that so long as I only eat the foods I can keep down (no meat, and can only manage pasta, baked potatoes, fruit, soups, toast, light sandwiches), and never ignore hunger I'm ok.

Also that when I get acid to make sure I take something for it right away as the acid can make me sick - hang in there it will get better.. just try to take it as easy as poss!

Yes sweetie, it does go! I am 18 weeks and have been put on a medication for it, which is improving things! Had the same with my daughter aged 6, but was fine with my son! Just girls seem to cause it for me! I felt so ill, I had to take the meds!
I know it hard, it made me really down. Are you on any meds???

It will get better! mine has not completely gone but down to once/twice a week for the last few weeks, but its bearable now and I feel pretty much normal. I was sick every day from week 5 and I felt like hell. Everyone said it would be gone by 12 weeks then 16 weeks then 18 weeks and the "advice" did my head in (tho I know they meant well) However it has eased and I'm sure yours will too, chin up Nx

when i was pregnant with my girls i stayed sick for like 4 months then it got so much better.. now im havin a lil boy i get sick every now n then .. it will getbetter with the ms but being tired has killed me with this pregnancy , its so hard to even get out the bed n take care of my girls.... hope u start feeling better real soon hun

I had MS really bad from 7-8 weeks and it didn't ease off till I was heading into 17 weeks... Only just feeling like my usual self, but everyones different I hope it eases for you soon hun
