Hi all

I am looking for a baby bath that has some sort of support thats great for newborns

can anyone recommend me a good baby bath.

Honestly I would just get a simple baby bath, dont spend much on it. As for a support ive never used one with my two so I cant help you there. Again though I wouldnt spend much on it as after a few weeks youll find baby likes to be in a few inches of water laid on his/her back having a little splish splash in the big bath!

xx

We have this one https://www.walmart.com/ip/Fisher-Price-Pink-Sparkles-Tub/15443716

Here are some pictures of Rylee in it... as a newborn & one taken tonight :)

I have this one.. not sure what brand it is but you can find it at Target. The newborn insert is like little hammock. He loves it.

I sort of regret buying a baby bath really cos my little boy has only been in it once and hated it and cried the whole time but when i have him in the bath with me hes lovely and calm its nice!

I get in the bath first and do my hair and everything and by the time I'm ready the water has cooled down so i get my husband to bring him up!

We only bath him once a week too cos he has very dry flaky skin and midwives and health visitors said not to bath him too often cos it will make it worse!

Be careful about ending up sharing a bath with some poo as well tho if you do this!!! :haha:

We used:

My DD loved it and we used it until she was 5 months old! :flower:

I use the acqua from mamas and papas. One side is for newborns so its moulded on an incline, you can safely put them in without needing to hold them and the other side is for when they're sitting, it has a moulded section between their legs so they can slip. I still use mine now for a quick bath and it uses hardly any water!

may I ask if anyone knows a good one for a 6month plus baby???

I bought a bath seat but he got his arm stuck in it and cried loads... plus it seams to always catch his legs as we pull him out... not impressed!

But the bath we had is too small now... totally lost as to what to do now...

summer infant bath support seat from mothercare or amazon. brilliant, used it for both my girls and it made bathing them easier.

I cannot rate this more highly! https://www.amazon.co.uk/Tippitoes-BM3-Mini-Bath-White/dp/B0037ZTT2A

In fact, I have several videos of my newborn kicking excitedly in it unsupported by me and I posted them on FB and about 5 of my friends have just ordered one! You dont have to hold the baby as the seat supports them, just need to check their head doesnt go to one side obviously! LO loves it!!

I bought an aquapod from mothercare. It's built into the bath mat!

I regret buying a baby bath as after 2 mths I put it in the attic and bought a plastic bath support to go in the big bath. She's much happier in that as she an kick with ease... My back appreciates it too! There is also a bath dam u can buy to make the big bath smaller if concerned about wasting water

I use the bath chairs that sit in the big bath it's great I find it easyer. You get them in blue or pink x

I got the baby dam which basically cuts the size of your own bath in half. We did use a baby bath initially but now LO is climbing and sitting the baby dam makes life so much easier as he's still in a small area and we're not having to fill the big bath! There's no way he'd sit in a bath seat and my LO likes a good amount of water for splashing!

If I had my time again I'd probably just go with the baby dam

thanks ladies i have been looking at that amazon one 2 people were talking about so think il go for that one - its a good price and looks though it will do the job :)
