Please someone help!!!

This is my first month charting and my temps are all over the place! I thought I ovulated on Friday, got a +ve opk on Thursday and had pains in Friday.

Can you look at my chart please and let me know what you think.

Are you temping at the same time every morning? Was the opk a true positive? Your chart doesn't show ovulation and you're still getting fertile CM. It could have been a random one day LH surge, or your body tried to ov and failed and is starting to try again (hence the fertile cm). How long are your cycles? xx

Most mornings I have temped at 7 but a couple was 30 mins earlier when my ds woke up.

It was a definite positive opk, I'm so frustrated with it. Definitely had ov pain on Friday. Would it make alot of difference if my temp was taken slightly earlier?

Then that shouldn't make a difference at all really, maybe it's .02-.03 degrees lower than what it usually would be. It sounds like your body tried to ov and failed and is trying again. Keep on BDing until you see that thermal shift!! Lots and lots of sticky baby dust.

Thanks for your reply Hun. Is there any chance evening primrose could of affected ovulation?? I don't think I'm going to use it next month.

YES!! Evening primrose oil will delay ov. It happened to me and I asked BNB girls and it's apparently happened to quite a few women. You can find some threads on here about it. If you need to help your fertile cm, try the whole mucinex (not mucinex dm) or conceive plus/preseed lube! Keep on BDing until you see that shift (which will prob happen soon), lots of sticky baby dust!!xx

Argghhh! What a nightmare! Will NOT be using that again! Been using conceive plus too. Ok, so there's still a chance I could ovulate?

Oh yeah, you still have a chance. EPO tends to just delay it, sometimes only by a few days. Since you're getting fertile CM ov is probably just around the corner. Are your OPKs getting darker? xx

I didn't take one yesterday because I had a definite positive on Thursday and Friday. Will do another this afternoon and see what it's like.

I agree with taylorxx. I'm not seeing ovulation either. Keep on BD'ing until you see your temp jump up and stay up for at least 3 days. Having fertile CM is also a good sign you haven't ovulated. Usually CM dries up pretty quickly after O. I go from ewcm to sticky overnight!

As far as OPKs go, I often will get a positive OPK a few times before I ovulate. (Apparently, my body is pretty good as failing to O! ) I just keep doing the OPK's every morning until I see that temp shift.

Thanks girls, you have put my mind at ease! Poor dh is worn out...so far we have bd cd7,9,11,12,13 and 14! Will carry on till I see a temp shift!

omg! Those are a lot of the numbers I get. I bet it just rounds to those! I'm sure it's still really close, because my chart has been working fine, but still! I am definitely grabbing a different bbt thermometer for next cycle! Thanks, hun! And thank yo for digging up that thread!
