Plug?

    Sorry if this sounds so silly lol

    When is it most common to lose your plug? i know it can grow back and stuff but when does it usually start happening and do you have to lose your plug to go into labour if that makes sense? or can you not even lose your plug

    Iv read ppl loose there plug weeks before and it grew back, I started to loose mine at the beginin of labour, and it all come out during labour. Everyone is different hun.

    As above - different for everyone :)

    You lose your plug when the cervix starts to dilate...even a little bit. It can grow back if the cervix remains only slightly dilated, or if the cervix closes again. Once you start dilating and effacing you'll lose your plug if you haven't already :)

    Yeah, I know from reading on here some people lose it weeks before labour and others only lose it during labour xx
