hi ladies..
well my SIL turned up on my doorstep at 9.05 this morning with her 2 LOs.
im braless and with a stained top on at this point as it is morning - dishes arent done, rhys is still in his babygrow and i havent cleaned at all!!
she said ''im here to take you to baby group if you want to come?''
im thinking...oohh god i dont know ive never been before and rhys was due at nap at 9.30 and gets so angry and ratty if he doesnt get his sleep and my car seat was in the car with DH in work..i hadnt made any bottles up or anything!!
so i thought..what the hell..
got dressed..dressed rhys..had a loan of SILs baby car seat and off we went!!
got there and as it was our first session it was free.
LOs had a bit of a play and i attempted to paint with rhys which i should have even tried as hes into chewing everything at the moment!!
(all the while im panicking that hes gonna start to scream any minute as he hasnt had his nap!!)
then we all had toast and fruit, and while i was holding rhys who was sucking away on his toast...my SIL says.. rhys is sleeping!! my beautiful baby had fallen asleep sucking on his toast in my lap!!
i was so thrilled that he can still fall asleep on his mummy as hes doing a lot for himself these days...feeding etc.
after he woke up we had a sing song and then SIL dropped me home.
we have decided that every tuesday now we will go to baby group together and then have naughty mummy afternoon and have lunch at the chip shop hehe.
if any of you ladies are offered a new oppurtunity grab it as it might turn out to surprise you - and youll end up having a lovely time
