Polyp at cervix - spotting

Hi, I am very new here. Has been lurking since i got to know I am expecting 2 weeks back.

I am now slightly more than 9 weeks, first time preggie at 40yo. Spotting (from specks like spotting to a coin size) started since yesterday and I was so stressed. Went to get dr to check it out and found polyp(s) at my cervix. Up till now, i still see spots when i wipe. And I saw very small clot with spotting when I got up this morning.

Would like to know if there are ladies with similar encounter. Also, how long before the spotting stop?

an update... the spotting is still going on. The doctors checked and all agreed that it was due to the polyp.

Just feeling very stressed whenever I see yellowish-brown-dull red colour appearing on my liner or when I wipe. The stress is horrible!

anyone with similar encounter?

I don't have polyps but I just want to say I am glad you know what is causing the spotting and that it is something manageable.
