Positive already???

So I don't know why I torture myself like this, buuuut I do it every month lol. So today I got my package from Amazon of 50 LH strips and 20 hCG strips and I decided to use one of each just for fun. Mind you it's only cd 4

A little backstory. I have PCOS and this is my second cycle taking femara to induce ovualtion. Last cycles I got a positve on cd19 and O'ed the next day...

Anyway, my hCG test obviously came back bfn because I'm on my period but the OPK came up pretty dark. Not postivie obviously, but darker than I was expecting it to be. Does anyone else get a second line all month long while using IC's? Or could it possibly be from taking my first dose of femara last night? Last cycle I was using CB digi and didn't start testing til cd 10 and it was stark white at that point!!

I'm just driving myself crazy! Anyways, heres a pic of the OPK

It's possible to have a line throughout the whole cycle (though usually faint) as there's always some LH. I've also read that with some with pcos, it's possible to have many dark lines throughout the cycle. If CD 10 was stark white last cycle, it's probably not the pcos, so it could be the femara.

I've read that clomid can cause false positives or dark opks so they say you shouldn't start opks until at least 3 days after your last dose. I know that femara works similarly to clomid (but that's about all I know lol), so I'm guessing it's the femara, but I also haven't read anything specific to femara. I'm guess it's likely the femara though.

And I had to laugh at this post just because I'm the exact same way with the tests lol

I sure hope it's from the femara lol.
Next time I will be good and not test til after cd 10
