Positive OPK at 8DPO... ???

OK ladies anyone experience this before? I'm 8DPO and out of curiosity decided to dip an OPK in fmu and it came up +. I've done this in months before with - results, plus my bbs are a bit sore which is new since they only got that way while on BC. I got a + opk on CD14 & 15 then - on CD16. My FF chart shows I O'd on CD15, which is my norm. I have been temping again this month (took a break last month) so I know I already ovulated and am due to start on the 31st. My last menses was super short, 2 days instead of my usual 5-6, so that was odd as well. I refuse to waste any more hpts. What's going on?!

When did you last use a hpt? Opks are known to be able to detect pregnancy. Most people will still show two lines on opks any time during their cycle as lh is always present, but those lines are quite dark.

I took an hpt on October 3rd the day before my wacky "period" began and then another one on CD16 which was October 14th. According to my temps I O'd on October 18th. I've never had even faint lines on OPKs except for right before October time, like a few days prior. So weird. Got a - digital OPK and another positive looking stick.

Also noticed that my temp took a biiig dip today... wishfully thinking possible implantation dip? Won't know until tomorrow if my temp goes back up.

Ok now I'm really confused because I just took another opk and got negative... ? I took two earlier today and both had dark lines...
