positive opk?? please look

ok [/ATTACH]so i have posted like 40 threads in 2 days lol, but i had a opk test left so i decided to pee on it for the heck of it lol, and i seen a 2nd line!, i have been testing the past 2 days with diff hpt and i had a wicked evap with blue die, but anyways i am cd 54 today!! so how could opk test be positive this late in cycle??

What Kind of test is this? I think the lines should be the same color, or the test line darker than the control line. Two lines on an OPK can be a negative.

this is a dollar tree one- the 2nd line is farely pink, just cant tell too well in this pic my phone sux

If the darker line is the test line I would say its positive but If the darker one is the control line, then its negative.

oh ok because i am new to doing opk, what is the 2nd line for?? why would you get a 2nd line if its not postive?

One is a Control line and one is the test line, For it to be positive the test line has to be the same color or darker than the control line.

Have you tried BBT or anything besides OPKs?

ooo ok so no matter if theres 2 lines the test line has to be darker, ok i just thought if there is 2 lines that its postive

No, some women have 2 lines on their OPKs all month. That test line has to be the same darkness or darker than the control. Keep in mind that OPKs only narrow down your ovulation day but don't tell you the exact day. The only way to do that is by charting or ultrasound. Using both charting and OPKs is a good way to get started!
